SINCE 1957
Shagun Enterprises was established 1957, when late Mr. Kimatram Phoolwani began manufacturing sesame seeds, and the rest, as they say, is history. Mr. Kimatram Phoolwani was offering consumers with excellent quality, natural, hulled and sun-dried sesame seeds since 1957. He began the packaging of the brands 'Sant' & 'Bhagat' which is still sold under Shagun Enterprises. The business has been passed down from generation to generation, and it is presently managed by Mr Kimatram's great grandson Mr. Dinesh Kumar Phoolwani.
Mr. Dinesh, the current CEO, has taken the firm to new heights. Over the last 32 years, he has led the firm from strength to strength, establishing it as a global leader by delivering high-quality sesame oil that retains the natural goodness and richness of its source.The group, under the lead of Mr Dinesh stands at 1,27,000 sq ft, divided in three companies- Meera, Moksh and Shagun Enterprises with additional productions in export quality, sortex sesame seeds and oil, along with groundnut oil.
